But the Sibat teaches control over distance\, timing\, and fear itself. \nOn January 9th\, continue the journey through the Black Belt Immersion Seminar Series as we enter the world of the Sibat — the Filipino spear and staff — one of the most underestimated and devastating weapons in the Filipino Martial Arts. \nThis fifth installment is about reach\, leverage\, strategy\, and commanding space before your opponent ever gets close enough to strike. \nLed directly by Datu Tim Hartman\, Tribal Chief of Modern Arnis and head of the World Modern Arnis Alliance\, students will explore the foundations and advanced applications of the Sibat system through basic templates\, advanced drills\, and combat-oriented movement designed to sharpen timing\, coordination\, and tactical awareness. \nBut the training doesn’t stop there. \nThis immersive seminar will also include: \n\nStaff Form 1\nStick Forms 3 & 4\nEspada Y Daga Form\n\nEach section designed to deepen your understanding of flow\, transition\, structure\, and weapon integration under pressure. \nThis is not just about learning techniques.
