DESCRIPTION:There comes a moment in every fight where distance disappears. \nNo room for wide strikes.\nNo space for hesitation.\nOnly pressure\, control\, sensitivity\, and survival. \nThis is where Dumog lives. \nOn February 6th\, continue the journey through the Black Belt Immersion Series as we enter the brutal and highly sophisticated world of Dumog\, trapping\, limb destructions\, and Hubod — the art of controlling an opponent before they even realize they’ve lost the fight. \nThis sixth installment is about close-quarter domination. \nStudents will work through the locking and throwing syllabus\, learning how to manipulate balance\, structure\, leverage\, and timing under pressure. From there\, the seminar transitions into trapping\, destructions\, and the flowing sensitivity drills of Hubod\, where instinct\, reaction\, and timing are sharpened through constant motion. \nThe seminar will also include: \n\nEmpty Hand Forms 3 & 4\nAdvanced trapping transitions\nLimb destruction applications\nClinch control and off-balancing concepts\nFlow drills designed to develop sensitivity and reaction speed\n\nThis is not static training.\nThis is the art of feeling pressure before it happens.\nThe ability to control chaos from inches away. \nLed by Datu Tim Hartman\, Tribal Chief of Modern Arnis and head of the World Modern Arnis Alliance\, this immersive seminar is another critical step toward preparation for the historic 70th Anniversary Camp and Black Belt Testing. \nThe seminar will take place at Horizon Martial Arts — headquarters of the World Modern Arnis Alliance — located at 280 Center Road\, West Seneca\, New York\, in the Wimbledon Plaza. \nAs always\, students may attend either in person or virtually.
