The Diamond Legacy Gathering: Celebrating 75 Years of Modern Arnis

Join us the weekend of April 30th through May 2nd, 2032, as we come together to celebrate a truly historic milestone—the 75th Anniversary of Modern Arnis. The World Modern Arnis Alliance, along with our extended family of friends, instructors, and students, will gather in the Buffalo, New York area to honor 75 years of excellence, evolution, and community within the art we love.
This anniversary isn’t just another event—it’s a moment to reflect on the legacy of our founder, the late Grandmaster Remy Amador Presas, and to recommit ourselves to carrying his art forward for generations to come. Together, we celebrate where Modern Arnis has been, where it is today, and the bright future we’re shaping hand in hand.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll have the chance to learn from and train with some of the leading figures in Modern Arnis, all brought together under one roof. The camp is hosted by Modern Arnis Tribal Chief Datu Tim Hartman, a direct student of the late Presas brothers, whose mission is to honor their teachings while inspiring the next wave of practitioners.
We’ll be training at Horizon Martial Arts, located at 280 Center Road, West Seneca, New York, just outside Buffalo. And if you want to jump in early, join us on Thursday, April 29th, for a special pre-conference workout.
The official kick-off begins Friday, April 30th at 9:30 AM—but the excitement starts long before that. Mark your calendar, spread the word, and get ready to be part of something truly unforgettable.
Until then… we can’t wait to see you there.
